Policies
Attendance & Cancellations
The full session fee will be charged for no-shows or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice. We understand that emergencies and illnesses happen. Please reach out, and we’ll do our best to be flexible when appropriate.
A limited number of sliding-scale appointments are available for families with financial need. Please contact us to learn more.
Payments & Billing
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. We accept cash, checks, and Venmo. Superbills are available upon request for families seeking out-of-network reimbursement.
We do not currently accept insurance directly, but are happy to support families in navigating reimbursement if needed.
Communication Between Sessions
We are available via email or phone for brief questions or scheduling needs. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response during the week. For any non-urgent matters or follow-ups that require more time, we’re happy to address them during your next scheduled session.
Weather & Emergencies
If local schools are closed due to weather or an emergency, in-person sessions may be canceled or moved to a virtual format. We’ll communicate promptly about any changes and work with you to reschedule when needed.
Missed Sessions & Make-Ups
We cannot guarantee make-up sessions, but we will do our best to offer an alternative time if schedules allow. Frequent cancellations may impact continued scheduling availability.
Virtual Sessions
Virtual sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. We ask that caregivers ensure their child has a quiet, distraction-free space for sessions. Tech issues happen—just let us know if you're having trouble connecting.
Privacy & Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting your privacy. All client information is handled in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and ethical standards for health and education professionals. We will never share your or your child’s information without written consent.
