Executive Functioning Coaching
Helping children to plan, stay organized, and manage life with clarity and calm.
Why Executive Functioning Coaching Matters
For many children, learning how to plan, prioritize, and stay organized is just as important as learning how to read and write. Our Executive Functioning Coaching program helps kids build the thinking and planning skills they need to succeed at home, at school, and in daily life. We focus on routines, attention, memory strategies, emotional regulation, and more to help your child feel confident and in control of their day.
Our Approach
We use a metacognitive, coaching-based approach that helps children “think about their thinking.” Through guided self-reflection, visual supports, and collaborative problem-solving, we help children understand how their brains work—and how to use strategies that work for them.
Sessions are led by trained Speech-Language Pathologists with expertise in child development and executive function.
Each session may include:
Cognitive-based discussions
Goal setting and check-ins
Planning and time management practice
Memory strategies and focus tools
Real-life application of skills
Who benefits from Executive Functioning Coaching?
Our coaching is ideal for children and teens who may:
Struggle to start or finish tasks independently
Have difficulty organizing their time, space, or materials
Feel overwhelmed by schoolwork, projects, or transitions
Need support developing consistent routines
Get distracted easily or lose focus during tasks
Benefit from learning how their brain works and how to manage it
We believe that learning to manage your day starts with understanding yourself.
That’s why our executive function coaching is grounded in connection, care, and collaboration with the child, the family, and the school team. We meet each child where they are and work together to build lasting skills that support independence, confidence, and joy in daily life.
